Horace Hogan (MCRP ’79) Inducted into California Building Industrys Hall of Fame

David Ogul of the San Diego Union-Tribune reported on the induction of Horace Hogan II (MCRP ’79) into the California Building Industry’s Hall of Fame.
“His concept of making a difference was helping people build a better quality of life,” said good friend Sherman Harmer Jr., principal at Urban Housing Partners Inc. of San Diego. “He got tremendous amount of joy in building not only homes but neighborhoods and communities.”
Mr. Hogan, a top executive at some of the larger home building companies in Southern California and a visionary who impacted developments throughout the region, died Feb. 6 after a battle with metastatic melanoma. He was 56.
