Andrea Hansen is named the 2013–14 Marie M. Bickham Chair in Landscape Architecture at the Louisiana State University College of Art + Design Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture (RRSLA), pending approval by the LSU Board of Supervisors in December. The Marie M. Bickham Chair was established in 2001 by Marie Bickham.
Hansen, GSD Lecturer in Landscape Architecture, teaches core and option studios while lecturing on representation and advanced digital media. Her website and upcoming book, Visualizing Systems, explores the mapping and visualization of complex systems through the use of both contemporary and historic precedents.
