Joint Center for Housing Studies publishes paper with AARP on aging

The Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies—a joint center affiliated with the GSD and the Kennedy School—and the AARP Foundation released a new report entitled “Housing America’s Older Adults: Meeting the Needs of an Aging Population.” Based on the fact that the number of US adults over the age of 50 is expected to grow to 132 million by 2030, the Center confirms that the United States is in need of more affordable, safe, and appropriate housing.
