Dean Mohsen Mostafavi named one of DesignIntelligence’s “25 Most Admired Educators”

DesignIntelligence has named Mohsen Mostafavi, Dean and Alexander and Victoria Wiley Professor of Design at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, one of this year’s 25 “most admired” design educators in its annual listing.

DesignIntelligence staff conduct the annual survey with extensive input from thousands of design professionals, academic department heads, and students. Educators and administrators from the disciplines of architecture, industrial design, interior design, and landscape architecture are considered.

“Deeply committed to advancing architectural education, Moshen Mostafavi brings a holistic, deep ecological and aesthetic to the design conversation,” DesignIntelligence writes in this year’s feature.

Mostafavi also received the honor in 2013, with the magazine writing, “[he] has taken a courageous path to further advance the educational programs for students while providing strong support to his talented faculty.”
