About the Fellowship

Loeb Fellows represent the broadest spectrum of design practitioners, from architects and landscape architects to journalists, public artists and affordable housing developers. They come from such different places around the world as Albuquerque, Atlanta, Seattle, Cleveland, Quito, Ecuador, and Shenzhen, China. As a class they arrive in Cambridge rich in experience and diversity with a common desire to make the world a better place for all.

The year at Harvard is a rich and rewarding time. The learning is nonstop, the new insights are constant, and the experiences sink into the mind and guide future practice.

There is no such thing as a former Loeb Fellow. The Fellowship begins with a vibrant year in residence at Harvard, but it is a gateway to a powerful worldwide network of over 400 colleagues and friends. There are continuing opportunities for symposia, travel, conferences, and more. The connections, collaborations and learning are there for a lifetime.
