Guidelines for Instructors

Class Lists

Instructors receive preliminary lists of students enrolled in each course after students have filed their study cards. This is typically the day after the deadline for submitting study cards (one week after classes begin). Final class lists are compiled after the add/drop period. A student is considered to be officially enrolled for credit in a course only when the student's name appears on the final class list. Instructors should contact Sean Conlon, the registrar in the Office of Student Services, if there are any apparent discrepancies between class lists and attendance.

Names of students cross-registered into the class will normally not appear until the final class list.

Class lists with student directory information and images are available on-line on the GSD website by selecting "Class Roll." (There are cases when a student will not appear on the Facebook because he or she has requested the withholding of all directory information, but that is infrequent.) Images of non-GSD students will not appear.
