A weather station is now on the roof of Gund Hall developed by Christoph Reinhart and the students in his course. It can be accessed by going to: http://www.gsd.harvard.edu/research/gsdsquare/ModelGundHall.html . The purpose of the weather station – apart from research – is to make key environmental parameters such as solar radiation, wind temperature and humidity more meaningful. For exampe, how much solar energy is available on a cloudy as opposed to a sunny day?

The GSD is excited to welcome the 44 new members of the MDesS Class of 2011.  The students hail from Italy, Croatia, India, China, Argentina, South Korea, Canada, Singapore, the Philippines, Greece, Spain, Israel, the United Kingdom, and throughout the United States.

Room 331 in Gund Hall (near the Advanced Studies Programs Office) is available for use by MDesS students this year.  Please use the sign-up sheet on the door to reserve it.
