Outside Scholarships (not Harvard-affiliated)
Please review the types of aid section for further information on all US citizens and permanent resident award descriptions.
Application Procedure
To apply for aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The 2010 FAFSA will be available online as of 1/1/2010. Although parental information is not required for federal aid consideration, you will need to provide that information (under the FAFSA parental section) to be considered for the higher Tier 2 grant. Be sure to use the federal school code E00212 which is specific to the GSD. If you are submitting parental data, but your parents are divorced or separated, you may use our application for divorced or separated parents application for Tier 2 Grant, which will be available in the Fall of 2009 . While the FAFSA is all we require initially for aid consideration, we may ask for more information at a later date. Admitted students will be informed about their financial aid at the time of admission decisions provided they have applied by the February 05, 2010 deadline. Applying for Financial Assistance has no bearing on an application for admission.
