Course will focus on proper input for building features, as well as running simulations without full knowledge of construction details. DesignBuilder will be briefly introduced as a means of simplifying EnergyPlus input. Course will include some lecture material but focus on practical tutorials on model construction.
Material will be taught assuming no previous experience in energy modeling. No specific prerequisites are required; however, an understanding of wall / window section design, as well as building mechanical system design, would be beneficial.
