Frank Apeseche is an expert in forming and building real estate enterprises. He is Chief Executive Officer of the Berkshire Group, a diversified real estate, private equity investment institution. Over Frank's tenure at Berkshire the company has sponsored eight discretionary real estate funds, two public REITS, a public nursing home company, the largest multifamily GSE lender in the United States, a private buyout of a NYSE REIT, and over forty private real estate partnerships. In addition to overseeing Berkshire Mr. Apeseche has served as a board member of over a half dozen companies and as a public company officer for two REITs. Formerly he was founding partner of BG Affiliates, (a private equity investment firm), CFO of Berkshire and Manger of Accenture. He received a BA from Cornell University, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and teaches at both Cornell's Masters Program in Real Estate and the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Mr. Apeseche has published on real estate capital formation, investments and strategy, as well as written cases on managing real estate organizations. He is a member of PREA, the ULI, the Cornell Real Estate Council and an executive board member of the National Multifamily Housing Council.
