David Gamble, AIA, AICP, LEED AP, is founding principal of Gamble Associates, an architecture and urban design firm based in Boston, MA. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kent State University and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design degree, with Distinction, from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. David was previously an Assistant Professor at Syracuse University where he founded the interdisciplinary Community Design Center. He has also taught at Northeastern University's School of Architecture. He is currently President of the Board of Directors of the Community Design Resource Center-Boston. In this role, he has led and participated in multiple community outreach activities. He is a member of the Boston Society of Architects Urban Design Committee. David is a past recipient of the Gabriel Prize, a grant for the study of architecture and urbanism in Paris, France. In 2008, he was one of ten architects selected nationally by the American Institute of Architects for the Young Architects Award. This award honors individuals "who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the profession early in their careers." David has practiced in internationally-known architecture and urban design firms in Europe and the United States. Prior to founding Gamble Associates, he was a Senior Associate at Chan Krieger Sieniewicz in Cambridge, MA. He has led urban design projects in many cities, including Buffalo, Dallas, Knoxville, Oklahoma City and Tampa. He was Project Architect for the award winning General Aviation Facility at Boston's Logan International Airport.
