Samuel Lasky, AIA, LEED AP is a Senior Associate at William Rawn Associates, Architects in Boston where his work focuses on complex institutional projects and their relationship to the public realm. Mr. Lasky was a recipient of the 2008 AIA Young Architects Award. Recent designs highlighting his leadership include a new United States Federal Courthouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the W Boston Hotel and Residences under construction in Boston's Theater District and the College of Computer and Information Science & Residence Hall at Northeastern University, which received the Harleston-Parker Medal from the Boston Society of Architects. Several earlier residence halls at Northeastern University are recipients of two National AIA Honor Awards. He has taught in the Core Sequence at the Graduate School of Design in 1999, 2000 and 2004. Prior to joining William Rawn Associates, Mr. Lasky gained extensive experience in affordable housing, including time spent working with Manna, Inc. in Washington, D.C. and Habitat for Humanity in Georgia. He received a B.A. in Architecture from Yale University and is a 1997 graduate of the GSD.
