Energy Necklace Studio
Spend three days in an immersive studio building artform Constructions with interdisciplinary teams of students from the GSD, SEAS and other Harvard schools. Explore the core ideas embedded in the Energy Necklace of collaboration and innovation by creating Constructions which visually and spatially represent the core mission of your school while generating renewable energy in model form. You will choose a site on campus and explore context and meaning. The studio will have visiting critics, site visits, a mid-review, and a concluding celebration. Constructions to be exhibited post-studio.
The Energy Necklace Project was created by the studio2sustain to foster sustainability, innovation and community through sculpture.
The studio will be taught by architects Susan Israel and Kathryn Duff, Principals and Founders of s2s.
