Studies in Landscape Representation II

A sequel to the course, Studies in Landscape Representation I, this course focuses on drawing as a mode of design inquiry. A series of exercises is intended to pursue the relationship among seeing, visualizing, the act of drawing, and considering what has been drawn. The issues that define landscape architecture – site, phenomena, and change – are emphasized, as are those concerning form, light, shadow, volume, and space.
