Event Description
Monsters and Fossils:
Possible futures, unfinished presents. A cross section through architecture paradox.
____________________________________________________________________
The city of Medellín, Colombia, has gone through deep social and urban transformations in the last years. This has been done not only through political will and effort, but at the same time through a performing and different approach to architectural practice. The architectural approach displayed and performed by Colombian architect Camilo Restrepo has allowed different ways to redefine the practice and the discipline of architecture in a local condition and within specific constrains, expanding the idea of architecture, not only as a constructive action to shape the void, but architecture understood as the Design of relations in space through administration, production and management of space.
