The-- GSD presents exhibitions that illustrate not only historic perspectives and contemporary planning, but also design approaches and issues. The work features projects by leading designers, planners and artists. Additionally, two shows per year feature student work. Every September, an exhibition presents work from the preceding academic year and at Commencement, studio work by the graduating class is displayed.
In keeping with its commitment to design scholarship, the GSD publishes exhibition pamphlets and occasionally full-length catalogues in conjunction with exhibitions of the work of internationally prominent practitioners.
These exhibitions are shown in the Gund Hall Gallery located in the lobby. Additionally, a "Faculty Projects Wall" is devoted to recent work of individual faculty. There is also a space reserved for student work which is managed by the Student Forum.
The Gund Hall Gallery is open to the public and accessible via the Quincy St. entrance during the following hours:
Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
