Foreign Office Architects (FOA) are based in London and directed by Farshid Moussavi and Alejandro Zaera Polo. They have built projects around the world which have been critically acclaimed, in addition to a long list of academic contributions as visiting critics at leading Architecture programs around the world. FOA are best known for their award winning Yokohama Ferry Terminal in Japan, which combines landscaped public areas, conference, and cruise liner facilities. They currently have major commissions in the Netherlands, Spain, Korea, Japan, and London.
Farshid Moussavi was the Spring 2005 Kenzo Tange Visiting Design Critic.
