Tutorial: Working with 3D Scans in Catia V5
The goal of the tutorials is to change the shape of the scanned objects. The first step is to import the scanner data as point clouds (most flexible), then merge, delete and modify the point clouds to finally create nurb surfaces that are editable in Catia. To get the most precise mapping use the Loft function to create the nurb surface rather than Power Fit. After you have created a manipulable nurb surface, you can use the Global Deformation or Control Points tool to modify the surfaces
