How do I check out a Boxlight projector?
You need to reserve the use of a projector by going to the Helpdesk and making a reservation.Please bring your ID with you and be prepared to provide the following information: name, time of pick up, time of return and a cell phone number . To pick-up the equipment, simply stop by HelpDesk. Users are responsible for the safety and return of equipment to Computer Resources. When returning equipment, you will need to see HelpDesk once again, to return equipment. If you need to return equipment after hours, please find a security guard and have them open the door for the secure cart closet and return the equipment there. Please do not leave the equipment with the security guard or at the security station on the first floor. You are responsible for the equipment from the time you pick it up until it is safely returned to helpdesk. If it is not returned properly, you will be called on it.
I'm a student. Can I borrow a computer?
Computers are only lent out to students for presentation use. If you have any questions or extenuating circumstances, please see the Helpdesk
I'm not a Design School student. - Can I use your facilities?
The GSD academic resources and facilities are only available to users with a GSD account (i.e.: enrolled program students, staff, faculty, visiting faculty, fellows, cross-registered students, and other Design School affiliates).
I'm a staff or faculty member, interested in a specific type of mouse or keyboard.- How do I go about requesting this?
Submit your request via email to the helpdesk, give specific part number, or description of mouse.
I'm a student or faculty member, and would like a specific software resource not currently available.
Faculty or student requests for specific software resources not currently on our network, should be directed to the Director of Computer Resources at the beginning of the fiscal year.
My laptop froze - How do I restart?
On most laptops, hold down the power button for 30 seconds or so.
I have a virus. What do I do?
