About post.Harvard

post.harvard is a "lifetime" email forwarding service provided by the Harvard Alumni Association. It provides an email address of the form jdoe@post.harvard.edu for your lifetime, but which is only a forwarding alias, that is, you need a real email address to which to forward your mail. This way you can let everyone know your post.harvard address while you go through a variety of jobs and ISP's and other educational institutions, etc, all the while keeping one single email alias.

When am I eligible for post.harvard?

About a month or two before you are eligible to graduate (usually sometime in April or May for June graduates.) Check on the post.harvard website, at http://www.haa.harvard.edu

Remember that your GSD email account will expire about a month after you graduate, around July 1 for graduates.

How do I sign up for post.harvard?

You are not signed up automatically. You must enroll on the form provided at the post.harvard website at http://www.haa.harvard.edu.

You will need your graduation date and degree; you may need your Harvard PIN Number. Questions about your eligibility to graduate should be resolved with the GSD Registrar; questions about the function of post.harvard to the HAA; email posthelp@harvard.edu.
