Borrowing Equipment

Computer Resources maintains a limited inventory of computer equipment which can be used to facilitate presentations.

Lenovo Thinkpads (6 avail)
MacBook Pro (1 avail)
LCD Projectors - available in all classrooms
Plasma Presentation Displays - there are plasma screens in all the lounges; others can be signed out
PC Speakers (4 avail)
Some Display adapters (limited quantities)

A valid GSD ID is required in order to check out equipment.

To borrow hardware, the user must contact helpdesk by either calling us (617-496-3810), emailing us (helpdesk@gsd.harvard.edu), or visiting us at the helpdesk office and making a reservation.

Availability of all hardware loans are on a first come first serve basis. We cannot guarantee that we will have certain hardware available, especially during busy times of the year such as final reviews, or presentation times, so it is recommended to make all reservations as early as possible. If no prior reservations are made, hardware can be loaned out depending on availability. Also keep in mind that during heavy demand periods you may not be able to reserve more than one plasma at a time.
