How to Edit the GSD Website

Did you know that Dreamweaver is up to version 8.0.2? You can find the updater at the official site or, if you would rather not update your own software, contact Help Desk.

In a Nutshell

To work on a page, open its folder in the webdev panel (see below), then doubleclick the page name to open the page. When you're done, save it. At midnight it will automatically go live!

The Webdev Panel

Your Dreamweaver window should look like this.  If Dreamweaver is set up correctly, you will see a panel on the lower right (highlighted in this example) labeled webstage .

You may not have the same folders pictured here, but you will have the READ-ONLY folders css, js, ssi, Templates, Library, and Scripts. You can ignore them.

Important: If you do not see the webdev panel, please contact help desk to fix your Dreamweaver configuration.
