Andrew Cohen, MArch '75
On Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at the 2004 AIA New England regional conference awards banquet held at Middlebury College in Middlebury Vermont, Roger Williams University Professor of Architecture Andrew Cohen (B. Arch Cornell 1974, M. Arch Harvard GSD 1975)received a citation for Excellence in Design for his firm's design of the Springstep Center for Traditional Dance and Music building in Medford, Massachusetts. Joining him at the podium was Project Architect Thomas White, B.Arch RWU 92, M. Arch Harvard GSD '94. Also present from the office of Andrew Cohen Architects was Maresa Buja, B.Arch RWU 2002.
The design awards jury, Turner Brooks, William
Sherman and Susan Maxman, deliberated in Philadelphia in September and
premiated nine projects out of 177 submissions. Exhibition Boards showing
the winning projects will be exhibited at Build Boston November 16-18
at the World Trade Center in Boston, and will be able to be viewed on
