GSD-ARMs Lecture with Toshiko Mori
GSD-ARMs (Alumni Roundtable Mixers), an ongoing series of presentations and events offered to the Bay Area Alumni Community of the Harvard GSD, hosted Professor Toshiko Mori at the John Berggruen Gallery in San Franscisco. The event was a complete success. Professor Mori gave an engaging and informative talk on her methods of integration of innovative materials and fabrication with traditional techniques to produce stunning architectural and design works.
Paul Jamtgaard, MDes '04 and Jennifer Weiss, MArch ’99 helped in innumerable ways, including organizing Professor Mori’s logistics and securing the generous use of the John Berggruen Gallery as a venue, and Mark Horton, MArch ’83 generously provided wine and refreshments.
The GSD-ARMs committee is already busy planning
their next event, and looks forward to hosting many successful roundtables
in the future.
