GSD Alumni and Friends
The GSD Alumni Council met October 16-17, 2008, for two productive days of meetings. They met with Dean Mostafavi and Professors Rodolfo Machado, Jerold Kayden, Gary Hilderbrand, and Scott Cohen to discuss the state of the School, heard a presentation from Professor Maryann Thompson on her Studio Option, Connected Isolation: Designing Architecture and Territory in the Galapagos Islands, and held a roundtable discussion for students on the state of the economy and their future job searches. Council members also worked in subcommittees to develop a full slate of programs and initiatives for students and alumni during the coming year.
