GSD Alumni and Friends

2008 Alumni Weekend draws graduates from around the U.S. and abroad.

Chilly, windblown weather did not dampen the spirits of the more than 100 alumni who gathered for our second, all-School Alumni Weekend on April 11 and 12. Kicking off the weekend, alumni toured recently completed buildings designed by members of the GSD faculty. Other highlights included presentations by students and alumni on the history and planning of the “global city” of Dubai and a keynote presentation by award-winning landscape architect Peter Walker, FASLA, MLA '57.

Peter Walker, FASLA, MLA '57, and Rachel Laszlo, MLA '06, the first recipient of the Peter Walker and Partners Fellowship for Landscape Architecture. Peter Walker delivered the keynote presentation, After the Memorial, at Alumni Weekend.
