In response to student demand, the GSD organized course presentation sessions the past eight years to preview content of both limited enrollment and one-time course offerings before the first week of classes. We hope that these presentations will meet two objectives:
- to provide more information to students earlier to help them choose their courses; and
- to accelerate and facilitate the selection process for limited enrollment courses.
Courses Included in the Presentations
- Courses with limited enrollment (see notes on lottery below).
- All new courses or courses not offered regularly.
- Additional courses may also be included at the discretion of the instructors.
The courses web pages will be updated in mid-August with a schedule of those courses that will be presented on Wednesday, September 10, beginning in the morning. Look for the schedule link on the left side of the courses page.
The online lottery for limited-enrollment courses will be opened on Wednesday, September 3 and will remain so until Friday, September 12 at 10:00 a.m. You will find the limited-enrollment lottery preferences form on the courses web page by September 3. While the limited-enrollment lottery is open, you will be able to add or delete your name to preliminary course "lists" for these courses.
