In response to student demand, the GSD organized course presentation sessions the past nine years to preview content of both limited enrollment and one-time course offerings before the first week of classes. We hope that these presentations will meet two objectives:
- to provide more information to students earlier to help them choose their courses; and
- to accelerate and facilitate the selection process for limited enrollment courses.
Courses Included in the Presentations
- Courses with limited enrollment (see notes on lottery below).
- All new courses or courses not offered regularly.
- Additional courses may also be included at the discretion of the instructors.
A schedule of those courses that will be presented on Tuesday, September 1, is located on the Courses web page, with a link on the left.
The online lottery for limited-enrollment courses will be opened on Tuesday, August 18 and will remain so until Tuesday, September 1 at 8:00 p.m. You will find the limited-enrollment lottery preferences form on the Courses web page later that evening, September 1. While the limited-enrollment lottery is open, you will be able to add or delete your name to preliminary course "lists" for these courses.
