Obtaining a business card:
GSD Students: Current degree candidates in good standing are authorized to use the Harvard name and insignia (including the name/insignia of the Graduate School of Design) on business cards, which must refer to the bearer as a student. The GSD logo is no longer in use. Therefore GSD students may use the Harvard University Graduate School of Design shield.
Students are required to present the printing company with a letter of permission which may be obtained by request (in person only) at the Office for Technology and Trademark Licensing (OTTL) with a current Student ID.
Kinko’s can print cards for students provided that the student goes, in person, to the OTTL with a student ID to obtain a permissions form. For more information, please refer to OTTL's FAQ. Unpersonalized stationery items may be purchased through local retailers along with other insignia goods.
