MBTA Semester Pass Program
The MBTA offers students at participating institutions the ability to purchase an entire semester's worth of passes in advance at an 11% discount. Those who sign up receive a new pass at the beginning of each month, to be picked up by the student in Student Services. These are normal monthly passes (for bus, subway and bus (LinkPass) or commuter rail), but are offered at significant discount for students who sign up.
To sign up, print the order form and return the completed form with payment (by check or money order) to the Student Services Office, Room 422 (open 10 am - 5 pm, Mon.-Fri.). Please make checks payable to Harvard University. No orders can be processed without payment in full, and once orders are received, there are no cancellations or refunds.
Passes for the following month are generally received by the Office of Student Services during the last week of the month. Notification that passes are available will be e-mailed to you.
Fall Semester Passes
Orders must be received no later than September 12, 2008, for participation in the Fall Semester program (Oct-Jan). If your order is received after this date it will not be honored and your payment will be returned to you.Other Transportation Options
