The Technical Services Department of the Frances Loeb Library supports the instructional and research missions of the Graduate School of Design by acquiring, organizing and maintaining library collections, in all formats.
The department provides bibliographical access to materials, in conformity to university and national standards, by order-receiving, claiming, cataloging and serial management procedures.
Technical Services also oversees bindery programs, internal charges and transfers and "to-shelf" tasks. The department's work is the foundation of the library's service providing structures.
