Materials in the Visual Resources Collection are intended for educational use only; they are provided solely for the purpose of teaching or individual research. Generally, the Visual Resources Collection does not own the copyright for the images in the collection and cannot grant permission for reproduction. It is the user's responsibility to obtain permission from copyright holders for publication and to observe copyright law.
The President and Fellows of Harvard College make no representation that they are the owner of the copyright; any researcher wishing to make such use of an image must therefore assume all responsibility for clearing reproduction rights and for any infringement of Title 17 of the United States Code.
