GSD students Naz Beykan (MDesS) and Jainxaing Huang (DDesS) had fun with field research that will make a serious contribution to understanding the cooling effects of green space on the urban landscape. 


Wang Shu starts his day reading 17th C poetry and writing Chinese calligraphy. The first Chinese architect to win the Pritzker prize spent the last couple of years at the GSD and is showing China the way to bring the traditional in harmony with the modern.


The “Waterline” exhibit at the Chicago River Museum presents provocative design solutions by GSD students in Philip Enquist's 2012 option studio.
