The Boston Society of Landscape Architects (BSLA) has recently announced their 2013 Honor and Merit awards with many Harvard Graduate School of Design alumni and faculty among the winners.
Recent GSD graduate Irene Toselli (MLA ’12) will fly to Ferrara, Italy in June to participate in an award ceremony which will honor her 2012 thesis with the silver medal prize for sustainable architecture.

The GSD exhibit “Deconstruction/Construction: The Cheonggyecheon River Project in Seoul” curated by Joan Busquets (professor in practice of urban planning and design) has traveled to the Van Alen Institute. On April 25 at 6:30 p.m. there will be a launch of the book Convergent Flux: Contemporary Architecture and Urbanism in Korea by John Hong (adjunct associate professor and MArch ‘96) and Jinhee Park (design critic in architecture and MArch '02) to accompany the exhibit.

Last week the American Academy of Arts and Letters announced the recipients of its 2013 architecture awards. Sanford Kwinter (professor of architectural theory and criticism and co-director, master in design studies program) is being recognized for contributing to “ideas in architecture through any medium of expression.”
