» Teardrop Park at Battery Park City. Michael Van Valkenburgh completes a collaborative project to open a new public park in New York City.
» Dialogue in a Landscape: The Kraus Campo, A Garden for Carnegie Mellon University. The Kraus Campo was the result of a collaboration between Mel Bochner and Michael Van Valkenburgh. It was conceived as a single integrated work combining art and landscape design.
» William Harris, MArch'79, of Signer Harris Architects (Boston) and Maryann Thompson have collaborated on the schematic design for the new Broad Institute at 7 Cambridge Center, Cambridge, MA. The Broad Institute--a partnership among MIT, Harvard, the Harvard affiliated hospitals, and the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research--has been hailed by Charles M. Vest, President of MIT, as "one of the most revolutionary and important scientific ventures of the 21st century".
