Horizontal Systems, co-founded by CEO Jordan Brandt (DDes '08) and VP Ivan Panushev (DDes '08) was purchased by Autodesk Inc. for cloud-based computing and modeling software. Based in New York, Horizontal Systems provides Building Information Modeling (BIM) programs, which will be incorporated into Autodesk's 360 program, as reported by the Wall Street Journal.
Autodesk 360 for BIM will contribute to collaborative work and data and lifecycle management, allowing users to access and coordinate multi-discipline project data remotely and over the duration of the project.
