GSD Joint Center for Housing Studies announces 2009 summer fellowships

Adam Wodka, MUP ’09, and Ivan Levi, MUP ’09, have won the Edward M. Gramlich Fellowship in Community Development which is co-sponsored with NeighborWorks America. Adam’s research will explore the effects of foreclosures on rural communities. Ivan will evaluate program solutions for managing concentrated foreclosures.
GSD students were also honored with The JCHS Award for Outstanding Housing Paper and Design. Design Winner is Andrew Domnitz, MArch I AP, nominated by Laura Miller, for his project Housing and the New University Allston Arts Campus The Outstanding Paper Winner is Jonathan Caputo, MDES ’09, His paper is titled The Case of Modern Industrial Residential Design and Realistic Innovation in Off-Site Homebuilding
