Joan Busquets, Martin Bucksbaum Professor in Practice of Urban Planning and Design, has been awarded the “Prix spécial de l’Urbanisme," an award granted by the French Ministry of Environment and Housing. This award is granted to those who make an innovative contribution to Urbanism in Europe. The celebration for Joan will be held at La Cité de l’Architecture in Paris on January 30, 2012. Previous recipients of the award include Alavro Siza and Bernardo Secchi.
