Joseph Cincotta (MArch '88), received the Merit Award at the 2012 AIAVT Excellence in Architecture Design Awards for the design of the studio and offices of LineSync Architecture in Wilmington, Vermont, where he is Principal Architect (photo above). Jury comments explained "It is an example of the carptenter ants eating the original building and then the architects regrouping and reusing the original materials in a clever way."
