Krzysztof Wodiczko’s (professor in residence in art, design, and the public domain) Memorial to the Abolition of Slavery in Nantes, a project designed with Julian Bonder, was recently nominated for the 2013 European Union Mies van der Rohe Prize. The prize is awarded every 2 years by European Union.
