Smokehouse by Aamodt/Plumb Architects of Cambridge, MA, was one of five projects chosen by Warming Huts, an open art and architecture competition on ice, to be constructed in Canada.

The winning entries, chosen from more than 100, were built in January alongside the “longest naturally frozen skating trail in the world”, Assiniboine Credit Union River Trail in Winnipeg.  See a description, and the other winners here.
