Natalia Escobar (MDesS candidate ’13) heads to New Delhi, India, at the end of February supported by a grant from Sharda University. Along with 19 other international students of different disciplines she will immerse herself in courses on Indian culture, history and language. Each student is pursuing a research project; Escobar is looking forward to studying informal settlements as conveyors of intangible cultural heritage of Indian society.
