The New York Times featured GSD Design Critic and former director of Spatial Planning and Water Management in the Netherlands Henk Ovink for his post-Hurricane Sandy work. Ovink provided guidance to Shaun Donovan, the secretary of Housing and Urban Development appointment by President Obama to lead a task force to manage the Hurricane Sandy aftermath in 2012.
