Toshiko Mori's House in Ghent featured in Architectural Review
Sep 27, 2011
Toshiko Mori's House in Ghent was featured in Architectural Review's Special Fall Preview, "The Shape of Things to Come: Preview of New Work from Around the World." The weekend house and compound, perched above a rock outcropping overlooking the Hudson River, creates a new residential typology with a series of five separate pavilions, each providing a specific and distinct function.
The project is currently on display at the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Isle, Maine, in the 50th anniversary exhibition Haystack’s Architecture: Vision and Legacy, a celebration of the school’s architect Edward Larrabee Barnes.
