Notes:

• These data came from the 1980 and 1990 Census, by way of The 40-year time series produced by Geolytics.
• The mortgage information represents the Median (per tract) Monthly Owner Costs for Specified Owner-Occupied Housing Units With a Mortgage. The 1990 figure included condominiums. The adjustment for 1980 mortgages involved multiplying each by 1.5 which seemed like the right number after trying a few things.
• These maps are provided as an example of what may be done with the census time series. These are not fit for publication.
