Theresa Lund is the Managing Director in the Office of the Dean at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. In this role, she oversees the workflow of the Dean's Office, serves as a liaison and representative of the Dean to internal and external constituents, and provides leadership on select issues as designated by the Dean. Theresa joined the GSD after spending nine years at the Harvard Kennedy School, where she most recently served as the Senior Associate Director for Research at the Women and Public Policy Program, a research center dedicated to increasing gender equality. While there she designed and implemented research initiatives, directed the research fellows program, and shared research and policy recommendations at symposia throughout the US and internationally. Theresa also served as an academic and residential advisor for undergraduate students at Harvard College. Previously, she worked in the private sector as a business strategy consultant, with the US Department of State in Hamburg, Germany, and with the UN International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, Austria. Theresa is the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship to Germany and a US Department of State Critical Language Fellowship to Turkey, and she serves on the Board of Directors of the Fulbright Association of Massachusetts. She holds an Ed.M. in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in International Relations and German Language and Literature from Wellesley College.
