Ron Henderson is a landscape architect and architect. He is Professor of Landscape Architecture and Asian Studies at The Pennsylvania State University where he also holds the Chair in Integrative Design. Previously, he was Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture and Deputy Director of the international Master of Architecture Degree Program at Tsinghua University in Beijing. He is founding principal of L+A Landscape Architecture, a widely recognized and published studio practice based in Rhode Island USA. He is a fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects and was selected for a 2012 Creative Artist Grant by the U.S. – Japan Friendship Commission for a research fellowship in Japan. He received concurrent MLA and M.Arch from the University of Pennsylvania and a BArch from the University of Notre Dame.
