Diversity
The Loeb Fellowship is committed to selecting a widely diverse class of 10 Fellows
each year. Throughout the selection process applications are carefully reviewed
and considered, first for professional excellence, and then for the kind
of diversity the individual would bring to the group. The Selection Committee
strives to compose a class with professional, geographic, ethnic, racial and
gender diversity. The Fellowship has had considerable success in selecting under-represented
minorities over the years. For the past 10 years the Fellowship has expressly
welcomed applications from international candidates and has a growing group
of alumni from around the world.
Profiles of alumni/ae Fellows available here demonstrate a diversity of background
and fellowship experiences. You will read about the personal stories of Fellows
reflecting on their time during their Loeb Fellowship year, as well as the ways
their professional lives after the Fellowship are influenced by their year at
Harvard. If you are considering an application or you would like to nominate
someone and have questions about the application process or the Fellowship experience,
contact us at: loeb_fellowship@gsd.harvard.edu .
We can address your questions and put you in touch with alumni/ae fellows. Please
spread the word about this opportunity to your colleagues.
