Superfarm

by Meng Yang (MArch)

The Superfarm, a joint venture between China and Singapore is an existing model for ultimate agricultural production. To simultaneously address growing urban populations and the need for greater food production, how can we redefine the Superfarm? Using typical modules of cities and agricultural plots, a new kind of city was proposed. Superfarm 2.0 is connected to existing transportation networks and connected through irrigation food accessibility. Typical blocks in the Superfarm 2.0 are vertically layered with a variety of food related programs.
