Web content should be concise and structured for scanning. When repurposing a document for the web, a good rule of thumb is to use 1/3 the amount of printed text. Break up your text into chunks with clear, descriptive subheadings. Put the most important information at the top, and replace text-heavy paragraphs with bulleted or numbered lists where possible.

Its best to do all your editing in a word processing program and enter the final version into the Ruby profile manager when you are ready to publish it. However, be sure to proofread your work using the preview tool as formatting and special characters such as foreign accent marks may not translate accurately from one program to another.
