Harvard GSD Commencement 2014 Exhibition
May 28, 2014–August 1, 2014
This exhibition features an individual poster from each graduating student. They compose work that best represents their time at Harvard Graduate School of Design. Displayed along with each poster, postcard versions of their material are available for visitors to take. The exhibit also features prize winning student work from the Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and the Urban Planning and Design departments
It is exhilarating to witness the results of a great year of inspiring work at the GSD. Each project by a graduating student is the outcome of multiple layers of research and investigation carried out through studio, seminar, and thesis explorations of wide-ranging domains of knowledge. The juxtaposition of these works, with their diversity of positions, themes, and geographies, offers a dynamic sense of how the built environment can be transformed for the better. Working at scales from the human to that of the territory and beyond, these students demonstrate the attainment of remarkable proficiency within and across disciplines. The force of their ideas, both individually and collectively, will undoubtedly have an enormous impact on all of our futures.
